Moon has an elegant contemporary design with a futuristic feel. Pay close attention to the floor below you as it changes colors under your feet. Steel is the element of choice at Moon, and the walls are glass so you can see the Las Vegas Strip 53 stories below you.

Though the retractable ceiling provides an unbelievable view, don’t stay home just because it looks like rain; at Moon, the ceiling is equally impressive when it’s closed. On cloudy nights, the retractable roof doubles as a projection screen that plays images of live events happening throughout the club. As you make your grand entrance, you won’t help but notice the tunnel of gold mosaic tiles flashing with a rainbow of ambient lighting. As you continue to make your way to the main room, you may then think your eyes are playing tricks on you. A river with dancing water fountains surrounds the dance floor. Fireballs shoot from the center of the light display that hangs from the ceiling. There’s even an elongated bar set inconspicuously in front of a glass wall offering a spectacular view of the Las Vegas Strip. Then you’ll realize that the entryway did not do this club justice; Rain is more than anyone could ever expect to see in the middle of the desert.

Rain is a great spot to host an exclusive gathering with friends, or perhaps a bachelor or bachelorette party. There are seven private cabanas (which hold 8-12 guests) offset from the stage, each with its own state-of the-art lighting effects.

If you’re looking to move up a little higher on the VIP scale, you can also reserve one of the six sky boxes. These unique areas have balconies so guests can lean over and watch the action taking place on the dance floor below. Shaggy had a major comeback in 2001, featuring worldwide number-one hit singles “It Wasn’t Me” and “Angel” which was built around two song samples, Merrilee Rush’s 1968 hit “Angel of the Morning” and The Steve Miller Band’s 1973 hit “The Joker”.

Recently, Shaggy released the song, Shaggy-Rise Again (with Sean Paul, Sean Kingston, Alison Hinds, Shontelle Layne, Edwin Yearwood, Destra Garcia, David Rudder, KesDieffenthaller, Tessanne Chin, Etana & Belo). The song became the anthem in Haiti after the devastating earthquake in January.
